Explosion...

Soooo the other day my sister gave me a call. Her 95 olds eighty eight wouldn't start. I sprayed some starting fluid into the TB and then cranked it and it ran for a second, try it again and nothing. Ok sis, you need a fuel pump and a tow to a shop.

Wont that work to start it and drive it?"

"Probably not..i can try again.."

BOOM

"WHAT WAS THAT!?"

"too much starting fluid, just have it towed."

No one told me the intake manifold was made out of plastic and i never took off the engine cover. If someone tells me how to upload pics ill show you what the thing looks like now. Lesson learned, don't use that shit with plastic. To be honest I'm both proud of myself and ashamed at the same time.

Hey, oddly enough, I think thats a great achievement on my part lol.

It probably needed a new upper intake manifold and gaskets anyway.

It wiil buff right out, lol.

All GM cars built after 1985 are made entirerly of plactic parts with the exception of the b/d bodies. Nows a good time for a supercharged 3.8 swap though

Sister is kind of a lead foot. That and how she takes turns already. YEESH. She doesn't need that under the hood.
