9C1 steering box Empty
PostSubject: 9C1 steering box   9C1 steering box EmptyFri Apr 02, 2010 6:33 pm

Hey I have heard that the 9C1 Caprice had a steering box with a "tighter" ratio than the regular caprice. Which mean i wont have to turn my steering wheel around 2 and a half revolutions to make a tight turn. Does anyone have any information about this? Is it a direct swap? And by chance does anyone have one in good working order?

THANKS

It's the Impala SS steering box I think you are looking for. It does have a closer gear ratio than the Caprice.
