| Hey guys.
First of all great site. Second, the R at the end of my username got cutoff somehow =/, oh well.
Third, I need a passenger quarter panel for my 1984 caprice classic two door project pretty badly. I hate not being able to go see the part before I by it and car-part.com only has stuff way out in like pigs-knuckle Arkansas. So I was wondering if anyone had a good parts car they were ready to chop up or if they've seen any two doors 80-87 sitting in any yards in NE. If you have I would LOVE to know cus I need the quarter pretty badly. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

| Let me be the 1st to welcome you aboard! Billy Mac (Impaladakid) may be able to fix ur username. As far as a q panel goes , yikes. Not many of those left with a rust free q panel. I'll keep my eyes peeled. | |

| Good luck. It's hard enough to find boxy parts but boxy coupes are like gold around here. You may have to keep your eyes peeled on craigslist for someone selling a parts car, or plan a trip to a distant junkyard and hope for the best. Whenever I get around to hitting up the musclecar junkyard I'll make sure to look around for any coupes. | |

| Thanks for welcoming me. I'm thrilled there is a site like this for my car and roadmasters and such.
If you guys do find anything thats AWESOME! send a personal message if you find one close, I'd love to hear about it. I can't make it around to many yards too far from my area, but if you guys find anything I'd be soooo happy. My project would actually be finished in this lifetime if you do.
Thanks again

| What area are you in? Then the locals could maybe lend a hand. There are a few here that know how to build lower quarters from scratch | |

| Im in Wilmington, MA. Next to Reading and Woburn and Tewksburry. I only go to hollands, jacks, and wings cus those are the only ones I know of local.
Maybe there are some hidden gems around here? I'd be willing to check Worcester or some other yards way out in any direction if anyone has spotted a decent two door recently.

| Welcome aboard! Sorry I can't help you with boxy parts...
But, last time you were at Hollands, did you notice any bubble wagons?

Umm...not that I can think of. I think I remember there being one paneled roadmaster wagon, but no caprices. I haven't been in about a month or so though. Next time I go I will make sure to make a second pass to be sure. But there were a few bubble sedans there I think. I'll head out sometime soon once I have a day off on a Saturday and I'll let you know.

| Hey Matt! Have you ever put any thought into making a patch from the shorter quarter panel of a 4dr sedan? I know you've got some dents and stuff but still...are the trunklids the same as well so the body lines would be close? Bill, I think I'm going to stop at Hollands tomorrow to check for any Chevy Venture center caps, I'll take a look for ya. | |

| Hey Matt! haha
I did but I wouldnt be able to find an affordable shop to have the work done at with my budget. Even if I get the two door quarter I'd still have to wait a while to have the work done. I think if I can't find one by next spring then I'll just end up doing that. But if nothing turns up locally by the end of this summer then I'll try one of the places down south from car-part.com.
I think I really will need to look into the four door patch idea and do some research with measurements.

| I have a 4-door boxy so you could check to see if they're even close to being a match. Some of my body lines are different so I don't know how much help it would be, but it would deffinetly open up more options for you. | |

| Haha, Matt I actually just got an email back from him asking if he had anything else and he didn't sadly. I already have two good doors in the shed though, but a NOS door is enticing... | |
