The chrome on my side molding was very faded and yellow.

Painted my side molding Dscf1660c

I would just remove them but this car was repainted and I don't think they took them off when they painted the car.

So, I decided to spray them gloss black.

Mask job, quick sand with fine grit sandpaper and spray bomb.

Looks like you did a nice job painting it. Looks good.

But man... I just think it looked better with the chrome, even faded. You really can't beat black and chrome!

I think you can still buy rolls of that chrome trim,

not to thread jack but how do you like those Firehawks? I was thinking about getting a set of them.

I'm not very picky when it comes to tires but I like them just fine. I've only read good things about them, too.

I like it, i'd paint the bumper chrome and the wheel well trim also. But then again i'm mental most of the time.

I really like the chrome on the front and rear. Esp. the rear. with the bumper, trunk lip, 92 tails and my super cool custom license plate frame.
