| The other night during the rain storm, Phyllis asked me to turn up the heat. I did and the heat never came on. Just before bed, pulled the front off the furnace to see water pouring in from the stack, and a burnt plastic smell. I shut the switch off, and did my best to dry everything off. Yesterday, I pulled the hot surface ingniter control out, and pulled the cover off to find a burnt section of the mother board about an inch long. I also got on the roof to find the silicone seal had split away from the stack, and allowed water to come in. F#@K! I guess we are lucky we were home and found the problem when we did. This could have went south real quick. I guess I know what I am doing this weekend. |

| Yeh, I am sorry guys. I was speaking freaky deaky dutch. In other words, water hit the control for my furnace after finding it's way through a hole in the roof. It caught fire, and we found it before it became a 6 oclock news problem. We got lucky. |
