Got me a 96 console. Its broken on the bottom, i have a couple consoles i can use to repair it, but the outside looks pretty good. I been dreading spending $3-400 for a console, got this one for $150 shippped.

Badass, you should be able to put that baby back together with the console you got from me.

If you find any other deals like that let me know, I have to figure something out for the center of mine.

No, came from Bubblekid down in Sarasota FLA. I couldn't get indyss317 or the other guy parting cars to even get back to me.

Thats the plan, i know i can make this one into a good 6 speed console with just a bit of work.

I feel on this one by crap luck, he had it on ISSF, i found it when he listed it on ebay. I messaged him on ebay, and PMed him on ISSF as soon as i put the 2 together and he replied, and i bought it. Good guy he seems to be.

How do you figure that? Guy over at ISSF make a piece that fits where the 96 shifter plate sits, just for the 6 speed conversion.

Kick ASS, Glen! Smile

Glad you got what you were lookin for! Very Happy

I STILL need to figure out a decent console for the SS. I really want one with the cupholders in FRONT of the shifter. I'll find something eventually. Smile

That's one thing I don't like about my 96 is the week cup holders. The one in front of the shifter isn't even a cup holder and the one in the ashtray...not my favorite.

Evertime I get some coffee I put a few napkins there-is probly best for a Starbucks doubleshot or redbull...I liked my '94 having cupholders!

I just was reading an ISSF thread on plastic weld rod
They cutout broken mtg hole location & welded in new pieces
I'll see if I can find it again, seemed pretty useful
Had never heard (or thought) about it before

I was reading that. I actually have a machine at the Boat Shop that does the same thing. I'm itching to try it.
