Ok, i can't find the post with the Laptop info for code reader, i Downloaded Freescan. Need the cable. Anyone got the part #?

datamaster is better and free for the first 20 logs and I got a cable from AKM

there is a cheap cable I think it was from aknovaman? something like that from the forum

no it plugs into the pins in the connector under the dash Shocked "cheap"

Will this work with the freescan and other Laptop scanners? I downloaded Datamaster, need to find out what the hell is going on with my Impala.

Yes. You just need to be able to have your pc or lap top be able to communicate with your pcm in the car. That will work.
