I forget Mr. Buick turbo's name so I am throwing it out there since we chatted about this. I see stock ones out there but if there isn't anything inbetween DEEP and stock then a stock pan is it-any ideas/part numbers?
And don't worry I am not in need of something chrome plated. I am thinking this one:

I sold one to Tom sr that looked just like that one. There was some sort of problem with it, and it is believed to have toasted his transmission.

If your trying to beef up the trans just start with a cooler and a torque converter and then start saving up for a swap to something stronger, or have a performance one built and don't cry when you blow that one up too. 4l60's aren't the strongest trans no matter what anybody says.

No sir, I need one due to it being the deepest size on the market. The original owner had put it on and I tapped it a few times recently so I think it's a must. Does keep it cooler with size/extra quarts. So it's either stock or inbetween mine and that.
