Here is my T56 list, i wanted to run this by you gents and see what you think.

I have the following:

1995 impala ss 102k
93 m29 T56
Flywheel
F2B kit
Pedals (93 trans am)
EFI t56 tranny wire kit
new Short through shifter.
And everything from the Trans am i think i'll need. (slave cylinder, fluid cups (have 2 of those) trans shield, and so on)
Used 3:73 gear set. (may switch to 4:10 with new posi when i find the $)

Needs:
T56 crossmember
New clutch
Pilot bushing
Ujoints
Trans am floor boot.
Corvette console boot?

Need to do stuff:
Console rebuild
Drivers cat (cut and weld or grind the tranny down)
Lengthen the slave cylder line? I read that somewhere.

Let me know what i've missed, i have the t56 Bible that Mike wrote over at ISSf, i'll be using that to go by. The tranny is almost out of the Trans am, going to take the pedals, and the rest of the stuff out this weekend. Then start my tear down of the Impala.
Thanks
Glen

mike and I did that T56 writeup.

The only thing I see is that you need to grind the cat or trans down? unless a 93 trans is different than a 94 and up trans there is no need, theres tons of room.

you can cheat and use the stock crossmember in a pinch, but unless you want to cut it and weld it, its kind of a pointless thing to do.

I've never had to lengthen a slave cylinder line. I hate cutting them, I created the "flap method" (it should be in that ISSF post) to drop the slave through the trans tunnel instead of cutting the line to drill a hole, then having to rebleed it and hope you got all the air out.

The master cylinder resivoir line is the one you might have to lengthen pending on where you choose to mount it.

besides that, your looking good

Good luck with the swap. Its fun shifting your own gears. 6speeds forever!
