I actually have a complete p71 ls diff rear end, and I'm going to swap it out, but when I pull the old rear I want to get it rebuilt, I'm sure with the high miles I'll blow the ls diffed one up soon!

Don't forget the p71 got a better driveshaft too. Don't want to pass up on that upgrade while swapping rears

Both cars are p71, i got a 99 with 90k on it, it was the sheriffs personal car, then went to CID, then to civil, i been trying to buy it for 5 years. Nice car, black, SAP package, just no posi, no power seats.

The car the posi is in, was a patrol unit they blew the motor in, it belongs to the local FD, for parts, so i scored the rearend and a bunch of other parts for the storage and the work on the chiefs car.
