| I figured you'd all get a kick out of this if you hadn't seen it before... My buddy Gregg has been here twice while enrolled at New England Tech in RI. This place is both a nightmare and a paradise at the same time, and when he told me about it, I didn't think it really existed. He went there with a shop teacher to grab some parts. I've heard mixed stories behind the place: A: That some small group of car collectors really own it and pay this crazy older guy with one eye to live there and guard the place. B: The crazy older guy owns the property after it had been handed down to him. C: This is an illegal annex to an operating junkyard nearby. D: It's an annex to another nearby illegal junkyard that no one knows about. E: Jimmy Hoffa is in a trunk someplace in here. When you show up there, the guy comes out and says something to the effect of "get the hell out", but if you give him beer, he lets you walk around. They don't like selling off parts, just whole cars. They keep an eye on you, and know where all the valuable rarities are hidden- they will block a path with a junk car to keep you away from stuff they want to stay hidden. Nothing is organized, everything is just dumped out in the woods, sitting on the dirt, yet the guy knows where every damned car is. There was also some other dude living out in the middle of it all in a dilapidated trailer. A few months ago, someone else who went there blabbed it online and the story floated around for a bit. It even wound up on Jalopnik. http://jalopnik.com/5102534/massive-secret-mustang- junkyard-found-in-rhode-island-forest?skyline=true&s=i Original leak thread: http://www.mustangforums.com/forum/classic-mustang-general-discussion/498652-largest-mustang- junkyard-nobody-knows-of-is-crushing-everything.html I told my buddy and he got all pissed, because it's supposed to be kept a secret. People started showing up there and getting tossed out! The funny thing is the entire place is IN THE WOODS and totally overgrown. Most people would go by and never know it existed. Right next to 95. Here is a link to a B.E.V. map of the place. I've linked to the entrance road. Keep heading west, when you hit the actual junkyard, you'll know. It's not just along the road, the place is HUGE. The pictures start halfway down on this photobucket page, and continue toward the end. From what I've been told, the pictures do it no justice at all. https://s214.photobucket.com/albums/cc114/bkl89/?start=240 74 Impala! | |

| If this back of this place is set on a hill with a tall chain link fence then I may have been past it a couple years ago. I remember going by a fenced in yard with a bunch of old cars rusting away with trees growing through them and no matter how many times I circled the area I couldn't figure out how to get into the place. It was in the warwick area. | |

| I see a 74 Impala, a 69 Mustang, an early 70s VW Bus camper, a 66 GMC truck, a 2nd gen a body, possibly another Impala/caprice, a 70s ford front bumper, a 4 lug 13" ford wheel from a maverick, mustang 2, pinto, comet, falcon, or bobcat. |

| That's pretty cool! Looks like the yard the guys at Carcraft always have pics from in the " Junkyard Crawl" section at the end of the mags. And... This guy should be SHOT! Not only did he waste all these cars, but he passed up the shot at making a shit-ton of money and having a GOOD life because of it. Yard owners make good money! I say we all head down there for a BADASS meet next year. | |

| I've been talking to my friend of doing some investigative recon sometime. The dude doesn't let people walk in to just walk the yard and is an irritable nutbag, but if you're like "I need 74 Impala" parts he'll like show you where the car/cars are and whatnot. It DOES look like an amazing place to just go walk around. My friend walked for about 5 minutes away from his shop teacher and lost track of which direction he took, had to yell to get back in touch with the guy! | |

| I believe i do know where this is, i live ten minutes away. It's in West Greenwich, right off 95 exit 6A. You can see ten or so cars from the road. http://maps.google.com/maps?q=41.65483,-71.576453&num=1&t=h&sll=41.654621,-71.574898&sspn=0.00416,0.010943&hl=en&ie=UTF8&ll=41.654686,-71.575499&spn=0.00416,0.010943&z=17 | |

That's not it, but apparently you found the other nearby one that people are talking about!!! The one I linked to is like 10 times the size and more remote, check out the bird's eye view map here (thought I already posted it but I guess I didn't...) http://www.bing.com/maps/default.aspx?v=2&FORM=LMLTCP&cp=41.639734~-71.632297&style=h&lvl=16&tilt=-90&dir=0&alt=-1000&phx=0&phy=0&phscl=1&ss=yp.brant%20trail~pg.1~sst.0&encType=1 Go there, the zig zag road coming off of Weaver Hill Road is the entrance to the yard, from near 95. All the cars are in the woods to the west, where the trees thin out and are a little more brown (compared to the pine trees to the east near the entrance) is where the cars are. You can't see them from the aerial, but when you switch to birds eye view, you can follow the road in and see a lot of them. They switched the satellite photos of this place and it's hard to see them now from the standard aerial view. This was the OLD satellite pic: There are at least 1000 vehicles here. | |
